My Family Photography Style


I like to keep things fun and lighthearted for everyone, kids and adults alike. I always get the must have photos of the family all together, just the kids, and any special requests. Then we have plenty of time for running, jumping, and getting creative! I love working at my favorite locations along the beach and Fairfield County's beautiful parks.

There are some amazing locations in Fairfield County! Having spent years exploring the diverse landscapes of CT, I've developed a deep understanding of its outdoor treasures.

A few of my favorite beaches are Sherwood Island, Sasco Beach, Jennings Beach, and Greenwich Point Park. Town and state parks are plentiful including Waveny Park in New Canaan, Huntington State Park in Bethel/Redding, and Tarrywile Park in Danbury to name a few. How often should you take professional family photos?
This really depends on your preference and the amount you can invest. With younger kids I recommend once a year since they change so fast. You will want to remember those times and have photos that represent your family through those changes. If you have an addition to your family that is also a good time to update your photos. As your children grow into teenagers some choose to only take new photos every other year or so. No matter how often you decide, be sure to stay in the habit of getting new photos of the entire family on a regular basis. You won't regret it later in life.
How do I book a photography session with you?
Booking a photography session is easy. Simply reach out through my website, and let me know the type of session you're interested in. I'll guide you through the process, discuss your requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.
How much do family photos cost?
I offer a few options to suit different budgets. Mini sessions are the most economical if you only need a small number of digital photos at $325. The most popular are 30 minute sessions since you get a large gallery and can download all images for $450. Photo shoots of more than 5 people are an extended family session and therefore more costly at $750.
How long does a typical photo session last?
The duration of a photo session varies depending on how many people are being photographed and the type of photos you are looking for. Mini sessions are 15 minutes while my most popular sessions are 30 minutes. Extended family sessions are 60-90 minutes. I strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. My editing process typically takes 3-4 weeks, depending on the number of images and my current workload. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of your session, we will discuss rescheduling the session to another day. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and am flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
